[/color][/center][/font]STATHAM CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTE
statham institute is home to some of the most diverse people on a global scale. opened in 1991 as a correctional facility for teenagers it is still currently run as such however a lot has changed. the government stay away from this place, no rules are strictly enforced to the running of the institute due to how efficiently it deals with those society wishes to rid itself of. the rules don't apply as long as the word of it's corrupt running doesn't leak. this is the reason why only a few people are allowed out for fear of word spreading. inside the walls deals are bargained between inmates, inmates and staff but don't be fooled. there is the odd member of staff who actually cares about these kids, who wants to see them improve and be fit to return to society.
steeping into the institute is like stepping back in time, the old crumbling walls are bare with the odd lick of whitewash paint. it's all so plain and minimal and lacking in things to amuse these teens. with a constantly cold and damp atmosphere it may not be the nicest place to be, that added with the sterile, hospital like atmosphere and the constant supervision can sometimes make the place unbearable. what more, like prison you can not step a foot outside the grounds during your stay and everyone is subject to weekly therapy sessions...more if needed.
those few that can be helped and 'corrected' are released however the vast majority who are written off for being far too dangerous and unfit for society call this place home.
